From the cutest, smallest cottage to the massive and very austere estate, what we all want is eye catching curb appeal.

Do you like the look and feel of waist high stalks of foxglove reminiscent of an English garden? Or perhaps a very sleek and minimalist look is more suited to your contemporary dwelling.

But before you get the shovel, why not get your camera and take a picture of the project area. And when your project is finished send us both the before and after pictures so we can feature them here for the world to see, ok?

Once the meat of your entry is there, meaning the plants, (see my extensive Plant Encyclopedia for plant ideas) then you can easily and joyfully, as well as inexpensively add the garden decor...such as fountains, paving stones, bridges and fences.

That's the fun stuff.

What about a butterfly garden by the entry gate so your visitors can enjoy the many different and colorful butterflies as they find their way to your front door?
